“In all the world there is nothing
so beautiful as a happy child.”
Holy Saturday and Easter Sunday were special days for children of all ages at St. Luke. I loved watching the children at the Easter Egg Hunt. What simple joy, to watch children in the joy of discovery. I want to thank the many volunteers that gave of there time to make the Easter Egg hunt, Craft Fair and Easter Sunday Services welcoming to our smallest saints! We are blessed to be a congregation with lots of joyful and energic children.
One of our core values is that St. Luke will be a safe place for children. On Saturday, April 7, we will host ACEs (Adverse Childhood Experiences) Lunch N Learn. By understanding ACEs, we can better offer compassion, support, and resources to those who have experienced trauma, promoting healing and resilience. Training is suitable for ages 15 and up. Sign up on the St. Luke REALM account to attend the lunch.
First Communion Class will begin on Sunday April 7, for First and Second grade children during the Sunday School hour. For older children who have not had First Communion instruction please contact me, and I will schedule a time for instruction. A worship service for First Communion will be held on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 12.
Easter Blessings,
Pastor Cliff
