Stellar VBS

 

Dear VBS Families:

On Monday, July 10th our out-of-this-world adventure begins at 9am sharp! 

Doors will open Monday through Friday at 8:45am. 

The Stellar theme aims to teach kids to shine Jesus’ light.  It’s filled with awesome Bible-learning experiences that kids will hear, see and touch.  Science experiments, team-building games, catchy songs, and tasty treats are just a few of the standout activities that help faith flow into real life. (Since everything is hands-on, kids might get a little messy. Be sure to send them in play clothes and sturdy footwear). Plus, we’ll help kids discover how to see evidence of God in everyday life - something we call God Sightings. Get ready to hear that phrase a lot!

Your kids will also participate in a mission project by collecting coins and money for school supplies for Chimney Rock Elementary School (one of our local schools).  Each day of the week, crew teams will bring in different amounts to see which crew wins the competition and gets to pie me (with shaving cream - not an actual pie.)

Monday:  Pennies

Tuesday: Nickels

Wednesday: Dimes

Thursday: Quarters

Friday: Dollars

If your kid’s crew team wins, you can pie Marta too!
