Mikah Meyer will be at St. Luke Lutheran on Sunday, January 7, 2018. As recently heard on NPR, professional countertenor singer, Lutheran pastor's kid, and University of Memphis grad, Mikah Meyer, will be at St. Luke Lutheran on January 7th during the worship service as part of his world record, three-year road trip to all 417 National Park Service sites.
Mikah will be speaking to our congregation during worship about his experiences traveling around the USA, and will also sing several selections. Mikah has been living in a cargo van while traveling across the U.S. for the past 20 months becoming the youngest person to visit the entirety of the National Park System. To keep this project going, he "sings for his supper" and receives donations to fuel him to the next park.
Come hear about his ministry, some Handel/Bach, and meet him during Fellowship Hour.
