Well done, St. Luke Saints!
Our new St. Luke Columbarium has been delivered and installed. This granite structure is designed to be the final resting place for cremains of loved ones.
The columbarium provides opportunities for church members to inter or remember their loved ones in the Christian tradition, within their church home. The columbarium is a reminder of generations that have preceded, and a sacred place for contemplation on faith and the meaning of eternal life.
Our next step is to landscape the area around the columbarium. We understand this is a sacred space, a place to remember loved ones. Our desire is a peaceful place that is cared for and maintained by our congregation. Gifts for landscaping can be made to the columbarium memorial fund.
Many thanks to the chair of the columbarium committee, Don Edwards for his leadership. Thanks to Wendell and Diane Kruse for coming forward with the idea of a St. Luke Columbarium. The columbarium is funded by the sale of individual niches. A dedication and blessing of the sacred structure will be held in the Easter Season.
Grace and Peace,
Pastor Cliff
